Pete's new arcade machine
« on: July 08, 2011, 12:43:22 PM »
WOO HOO I just bought a Phoenix Cocktail for myself and can't wait to get her-its an original Taito Phoenix cocktail and works but needs a resto which I can't wait to do have been wanting a cocktail since I sold my Hankin Galaga many years ago !!! to Bumper action so will post pics when she arrives in a few weeks.  I spent alot of time and cash as a kid playing this title and have one on my 48-1 but wanted a table top so best of both world I think and this girl will stay as is she wont be a 60-1.

This was a favorite of mine as well. I have 2-3 original Phoenix boards as well as another AWESOME shoot-em-up game - "Space Firebird".

Be sure to post some pics, Pete !

Well done Pete.    ^^^       I picked up a coctail a few months ago, a 1978 model.  It definately reminded me of when i was a kid at the local milkbar.

Good to see we are all big kids on here still.  ^^^ ^^^

Yeah I'm a massive kid and used to wait at the eltham mall and help the lady grag out the cocktail for us to play and between that shop and the eltham leisure centre machines I must have spent a mint :) all I need now is a crazy climber board I did have one but sold it years ago :(

Patience, Pete - It will be worth the wait. Don't stress, transport companies usually have unforseen delays !
