Newby looking to buy a pin in the future
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:24:48 PM »
Hi folks, just found this site and am really getting the bug big time for a good pin. Money is tight as usual with 2 houses on the go so for the mean time will visual pinball will have to suffice to try out all the tables.

Im mainly interested pins from early 90s on. My grail pin at the moment would have to be a GNR and I will definately get one one day. I am very handy being a sparky so will look into restoring one maybe to save on the initial outlay.

Cheers

Welcome to AP from a fellow newbie with similar story, even the city!
There is a GNR advertised on Perth gumtree. It is located just down the road from me but it's not my sort of machine and way out of my price range!
I thought the guy was dreaming but maybe not?  !@#

Yeah I saw that on gumtree as well  ::) In the words of michael caton "Tell him hes dreamin" lol. Almost 11K is a bit much even if it is good nick.

I think I will probably be looking at paying around the 2-3K mark which will hopefully get me one that needs a bit of a clean and a repair.

Cheers for the comments guys  @@*
