BALLY LAMP DRIVER BOARD TEST RIG
« on: August 05, 2011, 11:38:30 PM »
I thought a few of you might like my idea for testing my Bally lamp driver board.

Elektra uses crappy 555 sockets and was a pain for testing so I made this up it plugs into J1, J2 & J3 then the power lead clips to the wire on the backbox lamps.

Put it in test mode and following the chart I made as to which connector it's one and easily identify which transistor is shot.   Took me about 5 minutes check every transistor on the board.

Nice, I like it.

What sockets (or lamps) did you use?
