They said at end of last series... end of summer... so that would make it Sept/ October time for UK.. then the lead up to the Xmas special...

I tell my wife who has only just got into this great program that you have to go right back to episode #1 of the new series to fully understand all the little twists and turns that occur...... Dr Who is so well written these days.. surely a movie will follow at some point ( made by BBC i hope not friggin USA)

Hey ! I'm from the US and.... uhhh.... oh hell. I totally agree with you. %.%

I guess they've stripped the nationalism out of me pretty thoroughly these days.
All I can say is BBC did such a great job on the series the past few years, I can't see a reason to let control go to anybody else, be it Hollywood or wherever.
No doubt Hollywood would screw it up jamming it with product placement and other toy-selling gimmicks.

I need to get caught up on the new Dr. Who though. I think I missed a year or so in there somewhere.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here.

haha, sure thing dad, i'll explain on the weekend, it wasn't that great... but it helps sum up what we have seen so far... unless you watch every Dr Who episode in series 1-6 and in order it dosen't usually make too much sence
