Changed coils and switches on Charlies Angels bumpers but put put one coil upside down (wired wrong-now rectified) now that coil blows 25volt 5amp sb fuse.How do i test coil to see if bugged?

Use your multimeter to test the resistance of the coil.
Compare it to the other bumper coils.
You may have to disconnect the wires to the coil and it will pay to check the diode while you are at it.

The same coil being used? Possibly the diode is open now?? For the 1 cent cost worth changing that first I would have thought.

Don't want to state the obvious but, you do have the power wire going to the correct end of the diode don't you?

changed diode all good now,how ever after a dozen or so games drop target switches are spasmotic-solutions?

Probably worth a clean - slide a business card between the contacts with light pressure to clean any grime off them, see if that improves things.
