Data East Hook flippin flippers Instal

 Hi Guys,

I've got a flipper rebuild kit for my Data East but I'm stuck.

Screws, nuts etc are all fine to undo and replace BUT those flippin' hex screws hat hold the flipper under the play field are driving me insane. 

They were either tightened by the Incredible Hulk or I'm doing something wrong.
Have tried all my screw drivers with hex attachment, got my Dad to bring round his different screw drivers and even attached the hex head to a drill to try and undo......

Not a budge!
Spent two nights trying with no luck.

Is there a secret squirrel way or trick I don't know about?

Or if The Hulks brother lives in Adelaide and is thirsty for a case of beer  I would appreciate the help.

Should just loosen.   

Maybe someone has used loctite on it . 

Have you tried using an allen key?  It might let you apply a stronger turning force on the screw than a screwdriver or even drill based tool.
Use a ring spanner or similar as a lever on the allen key if neccessary.

At last VICTORY 

The trick was having the right tools. in this case the following:
1. Pair of gardening gloves to help grip.
2. Stool to get up and leverage the sucker.
3. Allen key and nothing else.
4. 10 mins of never give up , never surrender pulling on said allen key....
