Try mad amusements in the USA. they have brand new replacement LED displays and are very affordable/well priced.

Otherwise, jeff from classic arcades in the USA is also worth a look as he often has refurbished 2nd hand or NOS stuff, otherwise Marco Spec in the USA is always worth a look.

I have bought from all 3 companies many times with great results.  ^^^ hope it helps.

Cheers For the Info and links Brett,

Its starting to look like Sys11 boards are reasonably hard to get,

as opposed to Sys 3-6 which are a dime a dozen.

Biggest problem I seem to have is no one Pinball parts supplier ever has Everything you need!!!!!

Might have to go rottendog mpu look pretty good just a bit exy....

$300 for that MPU is an absolute BARGAIN! There is more than $200 worth of parts on the board and that's even at bulk buying and volume prices.

The blank PC board would cost MORE THAN $40 on it's own assuming short runs of 100pcs

Then someone has to put it all together - that's another 2 hours at least at - - - say, $50 an hour.…..

They are not making any money selling it for $300 that's for certain.

Cool mate I understand and agree their good Value for money,

And I will probably have to go that way in the end..

But it would owe me close to 375- 400 by the time I landed it from the Us,

Even though I could combine ship the displays I need too...

the Distributors that have the Mpus in stock at the moment sell them for more than Rottendogs list price, and they dont have any... !@#

Obviously If I could fiind a Secondhand board in reasonable enough condition to be repaired by me Id be miles Ahead....

Beaky found multiple sound issues (humming) on some of the Rottendog boards, and even had Rottendog send him a brand new board to replace one of the ones that was made in a faulty batch. I know Andy reckoned the older boards were made better etc. You are right, best to find a good second hand board if possible.

The only person who seems to come up with good 2nd hand stuff is Jeff from Classic Arcades USA.
Also, You could also ask for Arthur, who works for Wayne Gillard in Melbourne. Arthur has alot of pinball parts going back many many years. He would be worth a try.
Even Mark might have some spare boards sitting around. I would even check with Rob from Bikecity, also in Melbourne. It really pays to ring around to all the local guys.
Ya just never know who just might say YES, got one.

+1 for Jeff from Classic Arcades for boards.  I bought a system 11 cpu from him as I couldn't be stuffed mucking around with battery damaged board.  The board from Jeff was very clean with no hacks.

If you are looking for one of the LED displays, Greg from RTBB is the sole Australian distributor.  I would check with him prior to purchasing one overseas.

Was this an eBay project machine you picked up?  I take it you knew about the displays and CPU?  Shame, the originals are hard to come by without battery damage.

good idea martyj re contacting greg (rtbb).

I have sent him a email about some products (Led displays n DMD displays) so i can perhaps buy locally for my needs instead of sending $ overseas if the pricing is very similar ?
