I have Kingpin which is 10 as Daniel mentioned, and a great player.
The 15 on Target Alpha as Stangeways said is a great game too - was my second choice if I didn't score KP, and as it's a sci-fi theme would have sat in the collection well too. That layout as you can see was so good they used it quite a few times.

He's not keen on one that needs work to be done or one showing wear .He'll fork out the $$ for collectors condition .
Target Alpha and Jungle Princess would be the most accessible games
Kingpin and El Dorado would be hard to track down as they rarely change hands, and they would be expensive
High Hand and Volley are good players, are accessible and won't be as expensive as Kingpin and El Dorado
The EM market is not like DMDs. you have to extract games out of collections. Most games sold into the marketplace are average and overpriced. Wedgeheads are a little more expensive, as they have kept their value for the last 10 years.
A restored wedgehead starts at around $1800 and a full restore for a valuable title can hit $3500 ish. so there's a lot of variance there. to give you an example. The Jacks Open I fully restored was sold (extracted out of my collection) for over $3600. That's a highly desirable title. The Pro Football I'm restoring to the same standard, will sell for $2300 ish. Not a desirable title - but if you want a fully restored wedgehead, you won't find a better Pro Football. The market is there for full restores.
I will be restoring a Volley and a High Hand within the next 12 months. Both are great playing wedgeheads.
If you went down the path of a two or 4 player - You look at Target Alpha, Sheriff, Fast Draw, Royal flush. Would probably be a cheaper option than a wedgehead. My favorite EM is a Spirit of 76. Eight DTs and is heaps of fun. All would be under $2000 - restored, or more if repainted.
It comes down to budget and the standard that your friend is after. You can look at eBay and pick up a project for far cheaper than a restore.
Collector's condition = Full restore, or if you are lucky, a machine that is in original condition with low plays.
