Gday from Broome
« on: June 01, 2012, 12:41:00 AM »
Gday APB.  .. I'm Richard from Broome and have been hooked on pinball since the late 80s.  I didn't know there was a whole world of pinball freaks out there until a few weeks ago when I was reunited with a machine that I put many hundreds of dollar coins into back in 1994.  I am now the proud owner of that machine, White Water, and although it's been unloved and fallen into disrepair I've taken it upon myself to restore it to it's former glory.  I've been trawling the internet for parts and advice and found this website. . . . .woo hoo.  Help at hand.  Lots of fantastic knowledge sharing going on here.

Can't wait till the parts start arriving and progress kicks in.  I'm looking forward to contributing to and utilising this knowledge base.  Anyone with advice or pointers most welcome.

play on . . .

Welcome Richard, you've found the right place, lots of pinball freaks here ready to help. At least one other Wh2O resto being documented right now.

I did my Whitewater restoration a few years back, there is some info on flame polishing, rebuilding the boulders, re-bluing ramp flaps and some playfield touchups in here:
