Sorry about the loss.  If it's any consolation it's been my personal experience with thieves that karma ultimately wins.
The ramp business was very very good to me.

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Just found this article.

If this is the same burglary, then good news thanks to help from Public!

That is good news, thanks for the update. Hopefully they track down the rest of his property.

Got any serial numbers we should be aware of?
It's gonna be impossible to know if we're buying one of your machines without knowing anything particular about it.

No doubt they will list them individually and sold by 5-10 different people to avoid you finding them.

Good Luck! and hopefully your insurance money will help you buy them all back again.

For those who dont know, pinball machine serial numbers for all of your machines can be kept on the IPDB site and recorded.

example below of front serial page

http://www.ipsnd.net/View.aspx?id=4443

then page with the date you submiited your serial number, which proves u have had the machine a while etc. (Note - clicking on your serial number from the above page link gets u to the next page below).

http://www.ipsnd.net/details.aspx?id=17221

That way, its a permanent record so there is no argument if u happen to find a stolen machine, and it is also something that both the Police and Insurance companies could also use as proof of when the game was registered etc and under what name etc.

* I hope you get more of your machines back. Thieves are bottomfeeders like someone else has rightly said.

I notice the numbers growing in the IPDB however, the entries are still way below what you would expect. I think it is an excellent idea to have a collection of serial number world wide and to see in which countries all the pinnies reside.
