A clever guy Sky Pilot on Pinside designed a neat rotisserie for playfields that most people could make I am sure.

"I have received several requests to build these and sell them. To be honest I need another project like I need a hole in the head.
I've also been asked to sell the plans by many.

I will take a photo of my one for people to compare the designs. Yours is a deluxe model which would be much cheaper than the no frills model.!

I have included a link to the std $299 one that sells in Australia which works well, but the one I have incl on the Bayarea Amusements link below, needs to be placed on a table, and therefore isnt as movable as the one you have pictured. Your one has storage which is nice, and has inbuilt wheels.
The one I have used is perfect, but it costs $300. Anyone who is handy could build your one for a third of the purchase price of the steel one.
The $299 one can be stored easier, but the one u have wont take up much room anyway.

If anyone builds one, please give us all some photos and your feedback. Yours looks well designed for sure. Thanks for sharing Swinksy.

std expensive steel one below. no storage, not as portable. steel model works well but is entry level compared to swinksy model.

Thanks for posting Swinks.

I like the design and has given me some ideas to improve on it.  I've already got 1 of the metal rotisserie ones and 2 of the 'El Nino' wood playfield stands.

I have 6 playfield swaps lined up as things are incredibly busy down here  and I can see the benefits of the trolley type already.  I think its more for workshop type situations rather than the 'once every few years' playfield swap.

You could easily fit a blank piece of ply into where the playfield normally sits and use it as a storage unit or trolley when not required.

My playfield trolley arrived today.  I'm not a carpenter so I outsourced the construction and design tweeking to a fellow pinball mate who did a marvelous job.

This type of unit I would not think is intended for the average person, however anyone who is regularly shopping games or doing playfield swaps this is perfect.

Considering I'm on my second playfield swap already for 2013, it will come in handy.

I'm in the same boat.  If I did it would finish up like Homer Simpson's spice rack



The finish on my trolley is spectacular, screw heads counter sunk, rebates cut, edges routed!

If you are doing any "High End Restorations", I have some second hand (but in good working order) Gottlieb rollover switches and bunnings electrical tape
