Hi all, just to introduce myself to this site.

My name's Doug, and I live in Kent, England.

I have about 40 machines, mostly classic Gottliebs. I have all the usual suspects, like Buckaroo, Skyline, Kings & Queens, Slick Chick, Bowling Queen, North Star, Sweethearts, etc The oldest EM I own is a Golden Arrow, I've got a few wood-rails too; Dancing Dolls, Silver, and Sharp Shooter. I've also got some classic Williams games too, like Apollo, Magic City and a few wood-rails, like 4 Star.

I've got a few s/s games too, like Fathom, Space Invaders, and a Jungle Lord and a Pharaoh too. Latest addition to the modern stuff is a Dr Who.

I've been collecting and restoring games for about 15 years and still enjoy them.

Welcome Doug. I lived in Tunbridge Wells for a while many moons ago and have very fond memories of the place. Thats a high calibre collection you have of older games, many of the titles ive either had at some point or still have.
Good to have you onboard and hope to see some pics of the line up at some point   ^^^

Its a great site with some great people and plenty on knowlege.

Hi Doug and welcome.
You have some great titles. I played North Star as a kid in the 60s and would buy one but they are like gold nuggets. Sharp Shooter has my attention as it is the best from 1959, my birth year. Love the gong on Golden Arrow, my favourite Gottlieb title from late 70s. I have said it before that Gottlieb machines in general made you work hard for your points. Many play skills were developed by players on these machines in the 60s and 70s.

That's a great collection you have, spread across the decades. North Star is an underrated game. I'd love one in my collection one day.

Wow, thanks for the replies, Guys.  I'm in the process of re-decorating my games room so images will have to wait a little while, but I shall get some done for you.

Just a little boast too, my Kings & Queens machine was the one that was used in the BBC radio programme, 'Happy Birthday, Tommy Walker' made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the film, Tommy. The producers of the show found out that I owned one from looking at the Pinball Owners website and got in touch. It was great to have them at my house and recording the machine's sounds made during a game. They spend and hour or two recording the K&Q sounds and 3 hours or so more playing the other machines and they particularly loved loved Buckaroo too. Happy days #*#
