I've repaired lights and solonoids that stay on or don't work at all but have never come accross anything like this before
all the connections between the tfx to the bridge and to the board look pretty sound (i.e no sign of heat stress due to resistance in a bad or week connection)
Voltage on main filter cap seems to fluctuate quite a bit (16 vdc down to 12 vdc) but the ac input to the bridge only flucuates 2 vac so i think i will start with that cap.
