Ok, I was about 8 years old, and my favourite cartoon was G-Force

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-Force:_Guardians_of_Space

It was a Japaneese cartoon made in 1972 originally, and it was called Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. But was released in 1978 as G_Force for the western market and was a huge success, then later reworked in the USA in 1986.

I think G-Force would have made a great pinball, would have been huge in Japan, and maybe Australia ?

Another one which might have been popular, H R PufnStuf. If the Wizard of OZ can work, why not this one cause its got a evil withch, and the young boy takes the place of say Dorothy, and the rest of the characters are also pretty out there like Wizard of Oz cast.....

Imagine the shooter rod is Freddy the Golden flute.lol  *%*

+1 for Scooby Doo.  I have been suggesting it for years now.  Plenty of scope for zombies, ghosts etc and humour with Shaggy and Scooby and sexual innuendo between Fred and Daphne.  Heaps of modes to solve various mysteries.

I thought of a all time classic.

The Road Runner and Wile.E Coyote. This cartoon started in 1949, amazingly.
The famous Road Runner is probably known world wide as much as any other cartoon figure.

This would make a huge pinball machine with sooo many cool toys n multiball modes etc.

No, just thinking of something weird n wonderful for a new pinball machine.lol
I mean, someone just came up with Lexy Lightspeed and the rest of that new title. Thats pretty out there as well.lol

I thought of another one, a remake of a already classic.
Bugs Bunny - Lost in Time. (if u read the following storyline, it reads like a pinball games modes deskription !)

The game stars popular cartoon character Bugs Bunny who finds and activates a time machine after taking a wrong turn at Albuquerque. He ends up in Nowhere, home of a sorcerer named Merlin Munroe ("Moyle" to Bugs, or "Merl" but in Bugs accent). Merlin then informs Bugs that he is lost in time and that he must travel through five different eras of time (spanning 21 levels in total) in order to collect clock symbols and golden carrots that will allow him to return to the present.

Interesting plot. Storyline would make a great pinball game.

The problem with the likes of Wacky Races, Monkey, HR PnS etc etc is that they are all old and no longer made.  It is only us old blokes that know and like them.  Scooby Doo is still relevan and new cartoons are still been made today therefore spanning generations.  My kids love Scooby as much as I did when I was a kid.

Yep and the colours would awesome on a pinball cabinet. Im thinking of a nice big Mystery Machine and the Scooby gang down the side of the cabinet. I loved Scooby Doo as a kid, Blair probably watched it 10 years before I was watching it before school of a morning and now the kids of today are watching it. I think hands down it would be a popular pinball machine, but wondering if it would be on Stern's radar?

A cartoon version of Star Trek Pinball wouldnt work. Stern has Star Trek coming which is loved by billions worldwide, but will pinheads buy it, time will tell.?  JJP has Hobbitt, which is more for kids than adults in my mind. But its a movie, even though a bland one. It wouldnt work as a cartoon pinny either. We were supposed to be getting some new, fresh, non movie themed titles but nothing for=seeable for the next few years ?.

Stern/JJP should do a poll to its buyers, and ask what we want, thats business 101, but it hasnt happened, which tells me some of these pinball makers are still very disconnected from their own markets.

Scooby Doo seems to be very popular as a cartoon pinny. The toys n artwork could be amazing, but would enough pinheads buy it ?

Done properly by the right designer, I would move hell and highwater to try to buy one.  Scooby is one of the few themes that literally spans generations.  There is still heaps of Scooby toys, DVDs, figures available in the shops, whereas most of the other titles mentioned in this thread live on only in our memories.   Scooby cartoons are still being made as well, e.g. movie length cartoon - Scooby Doo & The Blue Falcon was made in 2012.

Alot of people are crying out for a spooky type theme, Scooby fits the bill as well.
