williams Lazercue resto/build
« on: May 04, 2013, 10:39:07 PM »
This project started a couple of years ago when i purchased a populated playfield of e-bay.
I recently bought an original NOS backglass form the states then whent about finding a cabinet to put them in.thanks to the forum i was able to get a cab from geelong, nick and daniel.the cab is a system4 headbox on a firepower base.
I could not find an exact match as the backbox was unique to a few titles only, with a smaller backglass

http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=Laser+cue&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick

I have ordered boards, displays, wire, connectors, crimps, heatshrink and ribon cables.

i have to re-wire the entire machine as the playfield loom had been cut off.
I will upload some photos soon as i get some parts in the cab. <..>

Sounds like this machine had nothing going for it at all. Piece by piece dedication. Look forward to seeing the results

My 50 volt toroidal transformer arrived today $#$.Looks like it has two secondary windings at 3 amps each.I hope this is enough for all the flippers,it was recomended by gav, retropin.
Nice and compact, will easily fit in backbox.Plus the heat shrink also arrived today, for joining all those wires.
At least i have made a start. !@#
