Playfield Swap Out
« on: October 03, 2008, 12:32:11 PM »
I will be in the next few months be starting the switch out of a Centaur playfield. I plan to make it right not just work, and seeing how the pinball hasn't always been mine, it has an issue here and there so I'm crossing my fingers. Anyways, what is the best way to make a playfield "stand" that I can clamp the playfield onto a tabletop for a month or two that will allow rotation of the playfield. Anotherwords, it will hold it up off the table top and have rotation clearance. I think I have it down but I figured I could always ask for your guys' ideas.

I'd like to make a rotisserie for my playfield swaps in the future.

Our friend and member Chuck has an excellent guide to playfield swaps

Wow. The rotisserie looks great for what I want. Now just to make some room for the playfield swapout... "Hey can we sell the kitchen to make some room for pinball stuff?..."

I bought the stand from someone who doesnt make them anymore.  someone else on rgp does make them and you should ask there.  It really is invaluable.
