Great project Tony, maybe you could save some time and just finish off the cab with some extra wall paper  *)*

Sorry to hear about your up and down weekend. Youre latest aquisition looks to be a rewarding restore. When you get to the stage of removing the apron do you mind scanning it (the artwork is all that is required).

Mate,

This game is so far down the queue of restorations I probably wont get to it to the end of the year.

Who was after the scan?

No problem,

I have all the different Gottlieb trays from the 1960s- might as well have them all.

Give me a few weeks  ^^^

Great playfield there buddy, can't wait to see it in all its glory with the new backglass and paint.

Just be careful with the backglass Mr Fragile.
“If you wanna escape, go up to a pinball machine. There’s a magic button on the front that takes you to a world under the glass and makes the the rest of the universe disappear.”

Tell you what Nick,

There is nothing more that tests the nerves than taking out a reproduction (and very expensive) backglass and putting it inside a game.

Now I have 4 coming! That makes it 4 times the fun  #@#

Surely I have used up my quota for broken glass for this lifetime  :lol

Hey Tony is there a trick to getting out the woodrail ones? With marathon ive used perspex so it will flex and even that was a prick to get in and out.

no mate, same as all other pins - maybe just a build up of grime etc. in the channel?

What a great project - another machine rescued.
Hope that son of yours is healing up.
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.
