It covers the EM era from 1930s to the late 70s with over 1,000 colour photo and close to 300 pages

Yes, goes into much more detail also features alot of stories about the guys in the hobby.

All the games are restored and are just stunning. Lots I had not even heard about and had to look them up on IPD

Best book on the subject hands down - Mike is now working on his next book which will cover the SS era

I emailed Michael about the 4th book on tuesday nite, asking for a copy... he said he had one left and gave me the price etc. i replied straight back and thought i had missed out.. until this afternoon when i got his reply saying it was sent yesterday #*# so it seems i got in just in time!! sweeeet!

But thats not the best part... when i first contacted Michael re the 4th book i took the opportunity to mention some of my own machines.. including the one i built from scratch.. my Vortex machine, which some of you may remember from the old aussie pinball site... he asked for pics of Vortex! so i sent them to him.. just out of interest to see what he thought of it. In his email this arvo he said he really liked the design of it and would like to feature it in his next book!... How cool is that?? I was totally blown away!!!

Oh maaaaaaaaate, put the final touches on the Gottlieb Universe from 1958 today - had to spray the legs red, so will post the pix just after Christmas to show you a MINT fully restored woody!

Wait until you see this Universe Gav, would say it is the best in the World but I know of a HUO example in the US....still this game looks NEW mate - and as mentioned EVERY part that could be bought NEW was.

Will be shown here first.....

Was out in the gamesroom tonight working on the Gottlieb Picnic playfield rebuild and kept looking back at the Universe.....beautiful old girl.....

Straightened it out and fully rebuilt the animation unit that was missing!
