Flipper Super bands
« on: December 03, 2017, 09:21:34 PM »
Had a bit of trouble putting new super bands on my Flash Gordon flipper bats.
I found if you pop them in a cup of boiling water for a couple of moments it makes them more easier to slip over the flipper bat.
But dry them first,   %.%

Good tip - they are buggers to get on.  You are almost there, the end slips off and you lose some skin ^.^

I'll second that, good once you get them on though.

there near impossible to put on stern top lane rollovers (on metallica especially) I got two on and gave up on the rest. Did hot water, microwaved them in hot water and those mini rings are buggers. Anyone succeed easily with these

The yellow bands I put on Flash Gordon look neat, the lamps under the return lanes make the bands glow.
Awesome   ^^^

Why is that? are they made from a different compound. Super bands and stern lane guides hate each other or I have weak fingers lol. I swear I had to stop after a few as my fingers just gave out.

Not sure why, but they didn't last on the two machines I installed. Specifically the 2 1/2 on the slings. Chewed through by the sling itself.
