I couldn't get into it. I'm a big Steve Ritchie fan, but can't stand Star Trek. Just not for me. But, I seem to be the minority with that opinion, based on what a few friends have said.

I wonder why Williams sold apx 12,000 units plus ? must be something GREAT about this WIDEBODY EXCELLENCE.
The machine just FLOWS like a V12 Jag, doing 160 down the tollway.EFFORTLESS. It just purrs along.just FLOWS. Playing STNG just feels like you have a TOP QUALITY HIGH END PIN at your fingertips. Just a quality machine for the SERIOUS COLLECTOR. lol.lol.lol.

STNG is always in the TOP 10. The figures speak for themselves.  *%*

THAT MAGNIFICENT LIGHT SHOW ALONE is worth owning a STNG. But 12,000 other owners, and me, could be biased.  !@#  lol.

I love Star trek, I love Steve Ritchies work (making sure i put the word 'work' in my post as if i said 'I love Steve Ritchie' well that would sound a bit ... well it just wouldn't sound right  #@#), I love WMS.
so for me to say i dont love this pin,,, well it just wouldn't sound right.

on the maintenance side of things i have found that if you can read a schmatic then its not to hard to fault find on this pin.
even though some of the replacement parts arn't cheap at least there is a lot of different spare parts available for this pin.

also you must have the flippers and canons in perfect working order to be able to really appreciate this pin.

this pin is on my 'next 2 pins to get' short list.

if you are unsure about this pin find some one who has it and play a few games on it (or do what i am doing, borrowing one for a couple of months  $#$)  then see what you think

Well this thread has been a fun read! You can see that polarising very evident here.

I'm a bit like Extra Ball (except less cruel to my children and pets) and do like ST in its many forms, but every time I play STTNG I get sort of embarrassed!! Truthfully, I'd like to play one not at a dealer's or in public so I can actually play looking at the playfield rather than around to see if anyone is watching me.

nerd alert, nerd alert. #@# #@# na, I'm not phased on who is watching. When i use to play the one at the Jam Factory (South Yarra i think) I always had 1 or 2 people come over and watch me play.
(maybe they were just waiting to have a game.) !@#

last time i was in there the holadeck went hay wire and the characters became real and i got slapped with 3 child care payment cases  &&

I will not give-up on STTNG. I dont want to write-off a machine with a theme I love.

If I liked this machine it would be in my shed now, I would sell 2 to own it.

I'm no trecky fan, however I've played one of bretts 2 ST TNG's

This pin is fast flowing, and has heaps of toys on the playfield, I think this pin would sit well in most collections, space themed pins add a different dimension to a collection. Just my opinion, would I own one ??? YES one day.
