Heh, that photo is a good candidate for a caption competition  ^^^

Good idea Rod,

Will set that up tonight....the winner will get an originally signed Gottlieb flyer autographed by the great man Wayne Neyens.

Is that OK with you Admin guys?

Of course, Tony  ^^^

I love it. This thread was started on 27 December 2008 and it just won't die.

It's like Jason in those Friday the 13th movies. ;-)

Yes, we are better off with the legend having it's own unknown life!

.. I'd drag it out until Dec 27th. That would be one year "to the day" that the problem was first posted  %.%

ok never ending thread fans, im sorry for the delay but as you could probably understand, i have grown very tired of this machine and couldnt be bothered looking at it until now... so to fill you in

Daniel and his bro came up to sydney for the Rollerball meet and kindly offered to stop by and have a look at the infamous Pro Football. A 40 degree is what i greeted him with when i picked them up from their hotel in the morning. A 30 minute drive and all i could keep thinking was... please dont fix this machine in 3 seconds or im going to look like a right tool!

So we arrived at my place and Daniel got stuck in... It was pinball fixing 101 from the get go with all contacts cleaned patiently by the good man. A few relays pulled out and checked/adjusted, a little hack on the score reel...

To cut a long story short, after quite a few HOURS (phew), pro footbal was singing and dancing again which is when we took the photo! woot!!!..

However...

A few minutes later, it stopped working again (i have subsequently checked and nothing from the playfield is in contact with anything underneath. Too sad... Then of course Tony arrives and whisks Daniel away so we could get to Pauls place later on that night  !!!

So kind of happy that it wasnt something stupidly simple that i have overlooked but unhappy cause ive still got a non functioning Pro Football.

5 mins ago, i fired it up and nothing (at least the motor stopped running...) I hit a vari target with my finger, the 1000 and 10000 score reel move up to 11,000 and stops... omg this machine is going to kill me!!!!

That's a bitch - but at least you know it does work!

I am hoping to get me an EM this year... Better stock up on Mersyndol by the sounds of it...

DON'T give up on it mate - how many guys do you read about, who regret getting rid of a machine?

In 2 years time you will be helping someone else who is lost! (Which will more than likely be me!)  !!@
