? Maybe Stern will do a string of other music pins to go with AC/DC and Metallica.

Anyone have any other mainstream well known bands they would want to see made into a pinny (other than KISS which we all know about).

What other band pinnys should they make a pinny for ??  !@# !@#

I saw the advertising clip for Jack and The Giant Slayer, that would be a mad pinball machine, but is it mainstream enough ?  !@#

After they release 3 titles in 2013, Captain America might be good for 2014.

I dont normally get involved in these rumours but ive recently received news that Sterns next pin is METALLICA with its release date possibly 4 weeks from now.
My source is from someone close to the band.. not  Stern

Would have to be an iconic band - Queen is an excellent choice.

Led Zeppelin would be a real winner - and if the rumors are true about a reform in 2014, then this is the logical choice.

I think the only other Band that Stern could look at would be Bon Jovi or Iron Maiden.

Hendrix is the only music pin worth doing, the art alone could be the coolest ever.
It just makes sense that the best guitarist ever should be a pinball.
Anything else would just be 100% lame imo.

Led Zeppelin rumours have been flying around since 1981. They will never reform according to their press statement in 1980 and besides, Robert Plant's voice probably peaked in 1975. He is happy doing what he likes and is comfortable with.
A 4 December 1980 press statement stated that, "We wish it to be known that the loss of our dear friend, and the deep sense of undivided harmony felt by ourselves and our manager, have led us to decide that we could not continue as we were", and was simply signed "Led Zeppelin".

A Zeppelin pinball? You would need a mighty good ball to complete Kashmir or Stairway. Dazed and Confused? I have a bootleg version that goes for 35 minutes!
Zeppelin are very protective of their brand and material. The rights to create a pinball would probably add at least 2K per machine.

They all say they won't reform, but for the right price, they will - Just ask KISS, The Police, Van Halen and Sex Pistols. BIG money has been thrown at ABBA and Led Zeppelin. A recent interview on 60 Minutes with Robert Plant hinted on a reunion in 2014. Robert Plant is willing and able. The stumbling block has been Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. Recently it has not been a "money issue", rather the desire. Would the line up with Jason Bonham live up to the legacy left by the band in the 70's ? So much amazing material has surfaced on Youtube etc - If Led Zep allowed their name on a pinball, it would have to be the very highest standard. I think they will reform, even for a handful of shows.

Page, Jones and most of all Jason were keen for a reunion world tour following the successful O2 arena show in 2007. Plant was the stumbling block. Page attempted to sign on several singers including Steve Tyler with no success. Page was so keen but knew that it had to be Plant.

A dealer in the US got a notice that the next pin release will be going up in price and it is believed $500 to $1000 in the states which will probably push the LE here up to $9500 - $10000, which will mean a pro will probably hit $6700 to $7000 - might be Spooky and Heighway pinball time....

I was afraid of that, knew the good times were close to an end. Now all we need is a lower Aussie dollar and then NIBs will be out of reach for a lot of people.

considering we are about 20% of Stern's business, so that will hurt them too.

it's funny as apparently recently Stern have been quoted for saying that they are getting parts cheaper so the machines should be levelling out.

more interesting is if the prices go up in the US but not here that suggests we may have been taken advantage of.
