The Night shift GC Manager at TNT just told me nothing is changing up here, and they don't even have a conveyer belt in QLD etc.
Anyway, maybe it will be E-Go Transport for APR...

Interesting video on the New system being implemented Australia Wide.

Amazing to watch. I've never seen so many conveyor belts. A similar system is coming to Victoria in the next 12-18 Months and obviously the rest of the country will catch up.

I'll be trying the other companies advised by others today. E-Go is a last resort, but is a good option for games without backglasses (DMD / Translites) or projects.

Mate - you paid for a tailgate, but the 80 year old driver that turned up in a ute with different signage on his door asked me to lift that monstrous Rally Comics boxed machine on my own.

They did a good job with the Juke Boxes though

I used them myself for a few machines a few years ago - weren't expensive and seemed to respect the machines (I guess they do much more valuable stuff).

Prestige Removals don't service anything outside of the East Coast. After a week of asking for quotes and waiting on call backs, it seems that they are not keen. Neway have given me one quote, got the state wrong and priced it too high as they expected to provide packing etc. Waste of time.

I've now moved on to COPE sensitive freight. Hopefully they want my business !

Dutt is legs off and palletised from previous experience.

Neway insist on using one of their shipping blankets which they charge a premium for.

If you pack really well (and I know you do Strangeways), e-go can be used in a pinch, otherwise COPE as you suggested.

Dutts Transport have a few locations up here. (also legs on, is NEVER the way to send a pin, EVER IMHO)
Dutts equals Nice people to deal with. You usually have to do depot pick up unless something has changed in the last 12 months. I have used them when customers have requested them. The warehouse guys out at Darra are good blokes. They have a sub agent on the gold coast who also is a agent for E-Go Transport as well.

Most companies have joined up to the E-Go transport system, sort of like combined Taxis, who-ever grabs the job first off the computer gets it etc.

There is one company I saw advertising in Melbourne near your area. Johnno's Removals.
Splashed all over the truck was "We are cheap and Fast, but fark were rough".
I think they specialised in rubber tyres.  

If its wrapped properly, E-Go will not let u down. Havent heard a bad story out of hundreds.

COPE don't live up to their name. They can't COPE with door to door any longer as they are moving to a new system and will only have bigger trucks not suited to residential areas.

It seems EVERYONE is moving to a new system or service. If you are currently a "long serving COPE customer" they will still look after you. For now.

Moving on to Blue Star Logistics - You need to spend $3000 per month or they won't even create an account for you. You have to use "prepaid" - which I found was an unreal price to Adelaide of $176. That's cheaper that e-go and it is door to door !

Next is a couple of removalists - as they take a lot of care !

E-Go is the only one that has agents everywhere.
If they can pick up from you, great, if not, use the commodore.

When the machine gets to the other end, if the customer has to go to a depot, then a depot it will be.
There is certainly not one company that does it all ! unless u live on the gold coast n are lucky enough to have TNT still friendly.

Why not use E-Go like most other people do ? you never hear of problems with E-Go.
A mate has sent 4 containers of pins worth thru E-Go without a hassle. My 2cents.
Sorry to hear its been painfull for u Nino. Business in 2014 isn't like it used to be. Cant give ya $ away mate.

Depot collects are not that big a drama, for me anyway. Last pins came via BIGPOST and they were very obliging at the depot, good price too to WA $250 per pin, not sure on senders end though.
