I, for one, will not care if someone makes a bad comment towards GB. My unboxing will be hopefully fun. As far as GB goes, it may be the biggest pile of crap gameplay to me and it will be the first game I ever sell. If it is crap to me, I still know it will sell......and why......because it will be gold to someone else. What someone thinks is rubbish is pure genius to someone else. So I respect all opinions, if I agree or not and if I disagree enough, I plead my best case, but not to brow beat a person, humiliate or denigrate and by no means push them to accept my views or pretty much make them stop posting in pure frustration. I get that feeling on a lot of threads that turn ugly.

sorry cavey but some of it is how you take and respond to comments and yours tend to be long paragraphs and many people then switch off and see it as ramble. I made a statement in this thread and my information was wrong so you live and learn and cop it on the chin but when you get defensive it makes it uncomfortable for people to post

the other is you do promote how many pins you have, cars, jetskis etc and it does get old and you don't need to promote what you may have.

none of us know everything about pinball and there is so much to learn and enjoy, just go with the flow and not assume everyone is having a dig

I have explained this
Mark takes a ramp to a factory, they make a mould from an existing ramp
The mold is then taken to another factory, and they make the ramp
The mold is only good for making 20 or so ramps, before the process needs to be started again

Remember, a proper mold takes $10000 to make

Exactly.

The BBBB ramps were NOS twenty plus year old ramps purchased from IPB as surplus leftover stock which then had a temporary wooden mold made for them to make a small run of repros in which case they will be of inferior quality from using a poorer quality temporary mold substrate material.

Also note that not one single ramp on that person's website makes claim that the REPRO ramps are made from original OEM molds despite also having 20 plus year old leftover NOS ramps from the IPB buyout listed alongside the repro products.

By comparison PinballInc and their distributors could and did advertise the fact that they are using genuine OEM molds for their repro ramps with confidence since they had them in their possession and NOT be pulled up for "misleading and deceptive conduct".

I read some of your mod posts which are very technical & long but I don't see that as ramble. No one makes anyone read anything on here.

Also, you shouldn't say "many people" think this or that because none of us should speak for other people.
As for promoting pins etc, it's done to share experience and knowledge of various titles, it's not meant to come across as ego. A lot of people have way more pins than me.
As for cars or jet skis, I only talk about those industries to compare manufacturing processes when people bag stern.

I don't have a problem with 99 percent of people, only 3 or so people who enjoy being nasty to me on a regular basis.
The comments everyone has read recently from one person in paticular leave no doubt the constant attacks are designed to denigrate and start arguments.

Again, if people stick to talking pinball and stop the personality attacks like its a social club and the alpha bullies are showing off by attacking people personally, then there isn't a problem.

Yes, there are usually healthy and passionate debates about Stern stuff, but that's all in fun.
It's when people attack others on a personal basis for having a different view, then that's when the healthy debate turns silly. You can't blame the person for defending themselves from the bullies.

You yourself Jady have told me many times over the years you have had enough from the forum because people have given you a hard time for posting a lot of stuff.
I remember many times where you were attacked for supposedly copy and pasting info from other pin sites.
I thought the attacks were ridiculous cause I don't look at any other pin sites so I was extremely glad that you posted stuff because it was informative. But others just attacked you.
You know what I mean, you know the chats we have had and how you were sick of people attacking your threads.

The only difference between me and most people on the forum, is that most sit on the fence when the bullies start.
I get off the fence when the bullies start on me.

No one should ever feel they should have to leave the forum because they constantly cop crap from others and don't feel welcome here anymore.

I have dozens and dozens of emails from people who have left the forum over the years, and some big well known names u never see on here anymore because they felt bullied by certain people.

When the bullies constantly try to upset you and constantly try to make you leave the forum, and u make it clear you are not going anywhere. The majority stop.
Only a small 3 or 4 keep going & embarass themselves like a few have of late.
I have taken some breaks from the forum because of changed personal circumstances or work commitments/travel etc.
but the bullies have never made me leave and never will.

I hope people learn that they can post threads and they can ignore the minority or defend themselves if it turns silly, but never doing a post or just leaving isn't the answer.

Best to fight the bullies and be unpopular with some than to be a victim and sit on the fence and be popular.

I hope people just stick to pinball. Pinball stuff is fun. The personal attacks and snide comments are not fun for anyone.
I want the forum to prosper. I am not perfect, have made mistakes & have always apologised.
I don't hold a grudge. No one should. Peace to all.

Best to take any ramblings you might read with a healthy grain of sceptical salt, swinks. They are rarely sincere or factual and usually designed to obfuscate in order to cover up an underlying long term personal problem.

Just to put it into context, one individual has basically spent the entire day (and will most likely spend the rest of next day ad infinitum doing the same if the thread meanders onto a path that does not fit his viewpoint) on a pinball forum with apparently only "5 or 6 regular posters" trying to convince us that his and only his view is correct and even those who have publicly shown first hand knowledge and experience of such matters are incorrect.

I also mentioned the proof is in the ramp
Are the sides and floor of the ramp smooth and clean like other B/W ramps?

Or is there a slight buckling/bending of the walls?
sorry Pete, not going you, but lets say its not the same quality, it does not make it ok. What stops Cavey selling his game and pointing out all parts are genuine or licensed products. The guy does a clean, see's the ramp, hears pinballace is the licensor and put two and two together and figure his products are shit. The new owner is not at fault, pinballace is not at fault, Cavey is not at fault, so who is???

A few things.
The ramps on my Bugs Bunny are flawless. No one would ever say they are shit and even think about the USA seller cause he doesn't make these ramps to my knowledge. They would say brand new ramps, excellent.
I would tell them where I bought them etc.
They are better than the originals.
Thicker slightly and very clear with no visible imperfections.
I don't know if they were made from an orig mold or a newly made mold but when no one is making them, it doesn't matter. You buy what is available.
When they turn up and they are beautiful and you can make your two games now work you are very happy.

I stand by my original statement...and the additional ones.
The ramp business was very very good to me.

Here are the original BW tooling for BBBB which are currently in MY possession as I am storing them for Starship.  This proves your master lied to you when he stated your precious BBBB ramps were made using the original tooling.  I rest my case.  No apology needed from you, just move on.   <.> <..>

PS. I sold the ramp biz and I've been living the good life, I could care less what your masters are up to.  I only came on here to correct your BS about the tooling (which I have now done), you seem to lie as much as they do....dozens and dozens of emails from people who left this forum...yea right.

Pinballace, you can see into my email inbox can you, yeh right ! A few of the people who emailed me said you were a turd and had a very poor reputation as a business man. Your fellow countrymen I might add surprisingly. And don't forget, your competitor can make & sell the ramps, something u can't do and you "apparently" have all the molds. Lol
Some business man you are. The ramp King who can't even make or sell the ramps when he apparently has the molds. No wonder u sold the business. What did u get for the business, $1.
And Apologise to you, your dreaming slick.

How old are the photos ?
For all I know they could have been taken years ago at Illinois Pinball.

Anyway, your a nasty little man with a nasty mouth. Good riddens.

I never asked to see any molds. Another stupid incorrect statement by another shit stirrer who enjoys making smart cheap shot comments. You only join in after the other few start but never have the heart to say anything until someone else braver & more idiotic has a swipe. I think your baking comment you made above was correct.

I asked if he was selling or had ever sold BBunny ramps ?
He didn't answer repeatedly cause I don't believe he ever had them.
If he had them, why hasn't he sold these ramps in the last 5 years & why did he tell me 5 years ago he didn't have the molds to make Bugs Bunny.

The photos prove nothing. How old are the photos. Who really has the molds.
These photos don't prove they are the originals or are the only BB molds on the planet.
