Hey All

Totally agree the show needs to be longer - some more detail in the restores would be great.
Mind you some of the prices seem crazy - anyone see the coke freezer they modded to be a hotdog stand.
Only $25k from memory!!!

I think my love affair with American Pickers is over.
Lately they been haggling with people over $5 - and they're always more than doubling their money.

that hotdog stand coke fridge thingo, was actually a good buy, you can undertsand that sort of money cos that would almost be a buisness in that machine. imagine how many people that would pull if you rocked up with that as a street vender. i read on the net which wasnt said in the show again due to the length of it, that most of those parts were sourced by him over the years so most of it was original bits and when he got the fridge he had enough genuine parts to make a replica of the original rare machine. wish the show was longer so this sort of thing was explained. as he said he doesnt like doing things like that modifying rare things away from original but i can understand if he had the parts to make it how it should be and original plans, hopefully if its a success the show will get a bigger budget to show more details.

I have enjoyed Danielle's increasing role in the show.

Nah it's whatever floats ya boat...I have a few mates that don't go for a girl unless they are inked out a bit and pierced to boot.
Not really for me but that doesn't mean they arent cool chicks and it also doesn't mean I wouldn't hop on if invited to do so...oh and single of course. #@#
