I think I have a solution, how about they bump off everyone 55+ and make bickies or something from us to feed the youngings. Wasn't that a movie with C.Heston, solent green or something  !@#

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley where they knock you off before you get old.

My Generation by the Who where you "hope to die before you grow old", ha, only Entwisle and Moon took that advice.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

^.^ ^.^ ^.^ just saw on SEEK my old job listed exactly, boy I am pissed, not sure I can make a claim for unfair dismissal as was paid a redundancy and been 9 weeks todays since let go.

maybe everyone should apply to give the HR a headache  &&

will soon be selling all my pins as Centrelink won't help until earlier next year as they expect you to use the extra money we paid in our mortgage to get ahead as well as savings accounts of our kids etc, so pins go before the roof over our heads

- Baywatch is fully shopped and will be ready to pickup around Pinfest time
- Iron Man will be ready just after Pinfest as will Creature
so any visitors to Pinfest send me a PM if serious and can come over and have a look

I will be starting for sale threads soon with pictures and videos......

Unbelieveable re your old job being listed .. I am guessing for less $$$  !@#  .. and I would do the same re selling pins if I had to .
It sucks but  Pins are easily replaced later when you are in a better financial position, of course.
I need more room ! and more $$$

I think you would be within your rights to at least inform Centrelink that your exact job has been advertised. I think that the time period is 3 months, not 9 weeks. Maybe they can advise ?

It is harsh dude. Claiming Disability is the same and it is out of my control.
Try to hang onto at least one of the games ( SC ) as you will probably regret not using some of the redundancy coin to keep her
Maybe you sell to a good, close friend for immediate cash and buy back at the same price when you land on your feet? I would help but the freight to WA would kill that idea.
Anyway keep ya chin up as you got to have the bad days to make the good days better  *%*

spoke to Slater and Gordon lawyers and since I was in a union they are investigating now. The company has already removed the job listing so they must know that they have done wrong and the lawyers said legally they are not allowed to list my job for 12 months.

Makes you wonder how many jobs go down that track. Wonder if they're looking for cheap labour? Dunno if simply pulling the job of seek doesn't mean you can go them? Be good if you have a record of the listing though.  ^^^ hope you can go them hard, keep us posted.
