That's terrible news.. never met the guy and only spoke via email when I ordered parts. Always so friendly and often added a few extras " just because".
Loved the way he did business with the Gone Fishing.. always gave the impression he knew how to balance business and life.
Ill miss the friendly way he conducted himself..

.. Safe passage pal..

Wow he looked pretty young going by that pic!

Never spoke but ordered from him a few times and it was always pleasant. RIP

A recent photo of Greg inspecting a new arrival. It was typical for Greg to inspect a game, and then turn up the next day or so with new parts to replace the broken or worn parts. This was typical of his generosity. People would not believe it until they experienced it themselves - which many people did.

Gosh mate, that's breaking my heart, it was just a couple of weeks ago we took that pic - he couldn't help on the Indy which didn't need much, but he took a look over the Airborne right after that - and just like you said, he was surveying what it needed and what he had - and provided a very difficult to get part...I asked what he wanted for it - nope, it was a gift. In his words "Piss off its yours."

Such a shame and condolences to all who had the pleasure of dealing with him in all formats.
I send well wishes to his loved ones.

Oh.......terrible news indeed.

I only ever spoke to Greg (dozens of times) but we never met.

He was always supportive of my efforts and helped me several times with some "difficult" bits.

Nothing more I can say that hasn't been covered...........

I had the pleasure of dealing with Greg many times.
Always great service and very accommodating, he helped me so many times with hard to get stuff.
Such a great guy will be sadly missed.

+1

As with others, I never met Greg, but had a lot of contact via e-mail / parts ordering.  Greg often sent my orders out with extra goodies, and it was never a problem to fill my orders quickly and express post them when I 'needed them yesterday'.

A sad loss which will leave a big hole in the 'pin community'. Condolences to family and friends. RIP

Andy
