Wow, unbelievable. Never met Greg, but he seemed like a good guy.

I fudged a parts order once and got a phone call from a strange number. When i answered and heard it was Greg from RTBB, I was expecting to be chastised, but instead we had a chat for about an hour. He was so helpful.

Greg will be missed.

Adam.

How old was he. Was it an accident.

At this point, we understand his passing was due to natural causes. Greg was too young (late 40's / early 50's).

please let us know Nino and Nick if we can put in for a wreath / flowers from AP.

Will do. Thanks for the suggestion.

Fark!!!!  Gobsmacked, speechless and just plain sad at hearing this news.  Not much to say that hasn't already been said but he was one of only a very small handful of pinball guys I had total faith and confidence in when dealing with him.  His business, expertise, chin wags on the phone and cigarette scented packages will be very sadly missed.

RIP mate.

I've known Greg for over 12 years.  He visited here in the states quite a few times and I went there a couple.  He helped me with my business, he helped me when times were good, he helped me keep it together when times were tough, he helped me grow the business, he helped me fight the battles and he helped us win all of them even when it was "us against the world", but most importantly he helped me to understand what it was to be a mate.  I'll say it just one time mate, Go the Pies...catcha.
The ramp business was very very good to me.

I never had direct dealings with Greg, however testament to his generosity, Greg actually overpaid for his backglass order from BGResto (and never asked to be reimbursed) - Sadly he never got to see it arrive.

A loss of life is always tragic.
RIP.

Wow and just simply WOW- I got this news by text this arvo  - I was stunned, and still am.

What a top bloke he was - he just "said it as it was"  and had a great wit.
As you all know you would ALWAYS get great service from his business and if you ever got to chat with him you ALWAYS ended up laughing and hung up the phone in a decent mood.

I was VERY lucky and got to visit his home a few years ago for a few hours with Nino and enjoy some games with him in his collection and just generally 'shoot the sh*t' with him for a while.

Still feeling blown away by this news

Condolences to his family and friends ( Nino I know u guys were tight mate )

Nino, could you please advise of any funeral arrangements as they may come to hand.  It might be nice for his family and friends to see how well respected and liked he was by the wider pinball community.

We will do so as the family advises. Will be passed on to the crew at AA as well.

Today was a sad day, but the family will be pleasantly surprised at the level of respect and admiration he has nurtured with the Australian pinball community and also with his dear friends overseas (James in particular).

Already missing him. Should of had at least 2 X 2 hour phone calls since I last saw him on Saturday.

The comments on this thread will be presented to the family, as I know they are totally unaware of the impact Greg had on the pinball community. I will be posting recent photos of Greg soon.
