Fantastic effort Tim, a game to be proud of! Happy to lend you my rivet tool, but it's a cheap dodgy one!!

El Timbo,
I am assuming from the brightness, that u have used LED's ? or some LED and some standard bulbs ?

what did u end up using ?
Behind every garage door could be a pinball collectors

I'm not sure if it was the way i photographed the game or not, but its not using any LEDs anywhere...

Just #44 GE globes...and 555s where required.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, nearly done  ^^^

if you had a pinball 2000 with a playfield that had a great reflection like this one you could play it without the glass.

Hey guys,

Well, my restoration is finally finished. I spent the past couple of weeks getting everything fine-tuned and functioning exactly as it should. It was kind of a strange moment when i realised i had nothing more to do other than PLAY THE GAME!

I must say, i'm very happy i own Funhouse. Its a really great game, and one that leaves you with that 'ahhh just one more game' type feeling.

I have had alot of help from members here, and i would like to thank each and every one of you for helping me with questions and queries relating to the project.

In particular, i would like to thank MartyJ, Pinnies4me and Beaky. Board repairs (Marty), various Funhouse bits and bobs (Pinnies4me) and Beaky (for taking the time to take specs of his system11 siderails).

I hope people following this project have enjoyed seeing it come to fruition, and i hope i have been able to help others find a starting point for their own restorations.

I guess all thats left to do now is find a new project...what will it be  *!@

Thanks for reading guys, here is a final long shot of the game up and running.

Thanks again for all your support and kind words

el_timbo

Nice work Timbo.

Should play like a new one!

You need to get your hands on another project (unless you have a que of people lining up to do theirs!)....

Well done.   #*#   #*#

Fantastic result, that should last ages now!

Funnily enough I had a quick bash on a Funhouse yesterday and started to get a feel for it - I can understand how it could keep you coming back for more.

Timbo - That's simply awesome. The lighting really gives the game warmth and depth - it looks like a new Stern rather than a restored pin.

Congrats and I look forward to your next restore.
