Excellent attention to detail, that cab looks great. How hard is it to keep the dust out inside against the black. ^&^
Ya not wrong Bigdaddy all the screw holes are full of shit after all the sanding and painting and everytime you drive a screw in all the crap comes out, have the Dyson sitting next to the pin though so its all good.

Ok time for an update i have installed all the hardware and completed all the wiring , discovered that the door interlock switch needed to be modified when using the new door from Mark C i simply reversed the bracket and used a few nuts as spacers .
Printed a new coil wrapper on self adhesive matt paper makes a huge difference as shown

Resprayed the lighting panel in the backbox as well as printing and laminating new matrix cards i found when removing all the plastic light sockets that they were extremely brittle due to the heat over the years so all light sockets were replaced.

All PCBs have been inspected repaired where required and installed new siderails and lockdown bar have also been installed .
The translite will be replaced at a later date due to a few holes in it placed it in the machine to take a few pictures though.
All in all its looking pretty darn good.

Thanks guys with the cabinet virtually completed i started on the playfield teardown ,this is where you really appreciate the value of a digital camera and a cordless screwdriver .
I hope to have the playfield fully stripped this week and then sit back and see what parts are required etc
A few pics of the progress'

I enjoy playfield tear downs (yes, I'm odd!!)

Got a fair bit done today have never taken so many photos in my life and i must admit it is a bit daunting having to put it all back together.
Everything is just about stripped off the playfield and will take me quite a few hours to sort out .
Will post a few pictures of problems i f have found at a later date.

2 questions

1) What is your source for the backbox lamp sockets? I've had a tough time finding them!

2) Did you just screw the line cord cover over the factory power cord hole, or did you install the internal bits from a newer game, too?
